MoveUP 2025
MoveUP, delivered by TeesDance in partnership with Darlington Hippodrome, is a FREE young choreographer’s programme for dancers aged 13 – 19, or up to 25 with disabilities. The 8-month programme allows young dancers to develop their choreographic skills and supports them in making their own dance pieces that will be showcased on Darlington Hippodrome’s 1000 seated-auditorium stage in June 2025.
The programme allows young creatives to take part in a variety of choreographic workshops and creative processes to develop new skills of creativity, facilitation, teaching and time management. The young creatives will learn how to be critical learners and reflect on their own work by identifying areas of development and implementing measures to improve. The process gives a collaborative approach with professional artists in a professional setting making choreography of artistic high-quality, whilst gaining both life and employability skills.
