Help fund dance where it matters most.

High-quality dance doesn't yet reach everyone who deserves it — particularly those with the fewest opportunities. Your support helps us keep programmes running, reach more people and build something that lasts.

What your support makes possible.

Every pound goes towards the five outcomes at the heart of our mission:

Connection and belonging
Bringing people together through dance, reducing isolation and building community.

Wellbeing, creativity and confidence
Improving physical and mental wellbeing through care-led, high-quality dance.

Access for those with the fewest opportunities
Taking dance to communities that have historically had least access to culture.

Opportunities to create and progress
Supporting children, young people and adults to take part in and progress through dance.

A stronger local dance sector
Creating paid opportunities for local artists and building something sustainable for the Tees Valley.

Fund a programme.

We welcome conversations with trusts, foundations, arts funders, health funders, sport funders and public bodies. We can develop proposals aligned with your priorities and our mission.

Commission our work.

We deliver targeted dance programmes for partners working in health, social care, youth services, schools, SEND and community settings. We can deliver in your spaces, for your communities — funded by you or through a joint funding bid. If your communities would benefit from care-led dance, we would love to hear from you.

For funders and investors.

TeesDance works in communities across the Tees Valley that have historically had least access to dance and culture — and we believe that is exactly where arts investment should go.

We are building towards a more sustainable organisation with multi-year investment and long-term partnerships. We welcome conversations with any funder aligned with our mission. If you would like to see our funding information pack, business plan summary or impact evidence, please get in touch.
