Teachers get a head start.
On Friday 4 September, teachers and group leaders from across the Tees Valley joined dance artist Teissy Easton in the dance studio at ARC Stockton. These are the people who'll be teaching the MFC 150 routine back in their own schools, dance schools and community groups over the next few weeks.
The evening was about getting the choreography into their bodies first. Teissy took the group through the routine section by section, with tips on how to break it down for different ages and abilities. Then they danced it. Properly.
Videographer Andy Winward came along to capture the session and grab a few words from the teachers on why they signed their groups up.
A huge thank you to every teacher and leader who gave up a Friday night. You're the reason 300+ people will know their moves on 17 October.
