If you're searching for free family activities near Boosbeck, Skelton, or South Tees this spring — look no further. TeesDance is bringing MoveTogether to Boosbeck Village Hall, and we'd love for your family to be part of it. Starting Thursday 23rd April, our free community dance sessions run every week until 21st May. That's five weeks of dancing, laughing, and making new friends — completely free of charge.
What is MoveTogether?
MoveTogether is a free community dance programme for local families. Sessions are fun, energetic, and completely inclusive — suitable for all ages from 5 upwards, and welcoming to everyone regardless of experience or ability. Our sessions are led by experienced, friendly dance teachers who know how to get everyone moving — even the shy ones in the corner (we see you! 👀). The best bit? You get to help decide what we dance to. Each week, the community shapes the session. Latin, hip hop, contemporary, something silly — it's up to you.
Who is it for?
MoveTogether is for families in the Boosbeck area and across South Tees. You don't need to be a dancer. You don't need to bring anything special. You just need to show up. Whether you're a parent looking for something active to do with the kids, a grandparent wanting to join in, or a young person who fancies giving dance a go — this session is for you.

This is community arts in action: not on a grand stage, but in the places where people actually live. In village halls. On Thursday evenings. With real families choosing to spend an hour together doing something joyful.
