This August, TeesDance is running a summer school for young people aged 8–16.
Three days of creative movement, new friendships, and great dancing - open to all levels. No experience needed. Just show up ready to move.

Beth is a professional dance artist with Motionhouse, one of the UK's leading physical theatre companies. She brings world-class creativity, energy and skill straight to Teesside this August.
Beth will lead all three days, taking young people on a journey through creative movement, improvisation and performance - building confidence and connection along the way.
What does a day look like?
WHAT TO EXPECT.
MORNING
Warm up, get moving, get to know the group. Creative tasks and guided exploration with Beth.
AFTERNOON
Build skills, develop ideas, work together. Performance-making and creative challenges.
END OF THE DAY
Share back, reflect and celebrate.
Pick-up from 3pm — please bring a packed lunch and drinks.

TeesDance Summer School 2026 is a three-day youth dance intensive for young people aged 8–16, held at Yarm Prep school (TS15 9EJ) on 18–20 August 2026.
