Welcome to TeesDance.

Whether this is your very first session or you've been dancing with us for months, thank you for being part of TeesDance. Every person who walks through the door helps make dance a part of everyday life in the Tees Valley - and that matters.

Our sessions are led by skilled, DBS-checked freelance dance artists who are passionate about creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, safe, and able to move at their own pace. There's no experience needed, no "getting it right" - just people moving together.

What to expect.

Our programmes run across Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar and Cleveland, and East Cleveland in trusted community venues. Sessions are free to attend and designed to be inclusive.

Your session leader will welcome you when you arrive, explain what's happening, and make sure you feel comfortable. You can join in as much or as little as you like - there's no pressure.

Get in touch.

We'd love to hear from you - whether it's a question about sessions, feedback on your experience, or something you'd like us to know.

Concerns?

Your safety and wellbeing matter to us. If you ever have a concern about anything that happens during a TeesDance session - including the behaviour of a session leader or anyone involved in delivery - we want to hear about it.

You can raise a concern by emailing [email protected] directly. All concerns are taken seriously, treated confidentially, and will be responded to promptly.

You don't need to worry about being identified to the person involved, and raising a concern will never affect your place in any TeesDance programme.
